This is a story from my own life. In December 2021, I was diagnosed with carcinoma in situ and underwent immediate surgery to remove the lesion. A month post-surgery, I left the company I had worked at for nearly 20 years. The professional team included experienced clinicians, the head of the nutrition department, case managers, and specialist nurses. The service included health assessments in the first and eighth weeks, with personal explanations from the clinician regarding health metrics. Some numbers showed improvement, and concise advice was provided on health promotion, disease prevention, and maintenance, differing from the hurried interactions typical in other hospital visits.

The head of the nutrition department, with extensive clinical nutrition experience, highlighted dietary and lifestyle adjustments based on test results during the consultation, sharing essential professional knowledge on required nutrients, meal timings, and portion sizes. This also uncovered blind spots in my previous understanding, showcasing the value of knowledge.
